As NS 12Z came north on the line, Buena Vista, VA was the spot decided by the dispatcher to have a running meet with NS 13Z led by the Illinois Terminal heritage unit. Seen here, NS 13Z passes 12Z in the siding in Buena Vista, as the Shenandoah mountains can be seen in the background, which sit behind the town of Buena Vista.
