| Cumbres & Toltec 489 makes the final ascent towards Cumbres Pass, offering passengers scenic vista views of the valley below. The railroad was built up to Cumbres and down through the Los Piños Valley and Toltec Gorge, as engineers were unable to beat the challenging elevation of La Manga Pass. |
