Before Charlotte built their light rail line from Pineville to downtown, they ran trolley cars on a short section of former Southern Railway single track line. This shot taken in February 2005 shots CATS 91 heading for the skyscrapers. zthe four trolley cars owned by Charlotte were replicas built a year prior to this photograph. They were still used some after the light rail opened up including handling the traffic on the street car line for a time. In the past few years, they were sold to Memphis Transportation Authortity.
