| Dual power locomotive Gem 4/4 # 801 of the Rhaetian Railway, running in diesel mode between Samedan and Pontresina with train 9935 for driver training. This line is part of the main network, electrified with 11000 V AC 16,7 Hz. The locomotive is capable to run with 1000 V DC on the Bernina line or with diesel from two 709 kW Cummins prime movers. In the background is the station building of the funicular to Muottas Muragl. |
