St. Maries River Railroad EMD SW1200 No. 501 has just delivered three empty centerbeam cars to Stimson Lumber in Milltown, Idaho, and is now returning to St. Maries yard on September 27, 2021. It is hard to believe the weed-covered track was once the Milwaukee Road’s Pacific Extension main line. The name of road on the left? It’s Milwaukee Road—of course!
