OKLAHOMA CITY OK (October) 1975 -- Vandals broke a switch lock, threw the switch and tampered with the switch signal to show the wrong aspect. The result was that Rock Island GP40 384 left the main track and came to rest at the end of this warehouse spur. The train was westbound on the west side of the city. I don’t recall if anyone was injured in this incident. My photo.
