| The 300 series Shinkansen bullet trains were introduced in the 1990s as replacements for the 100 series (the nose on the right). Behind the 300 is a 700 series which is the replacement for the 300 and currently the most common bullet train. That is a Santa Clause on the 300, Christmas is celebrated in Japan, more for as a commercial holiday though like Valentines. |
