| It wasn't unusual for 'rails' to chalk their inside jokes on each other's locomotives. In this case, 'swine' is a play on SD9 and the hoghead's nickname. What is unusual in this photo however is snow in Seattle, that year dumped over a foot and I still remember slogging up and down the hump yard in it. |
