| "Train v. Truck at Eagle St."
On the afternoon of October 17, 2022, Metro-North officials & Avenue Auto Towing crews assess damage at the scene of an earlier grade crossing strike at Eagle Street along the Waterbury Branch in Waterbury, CT.
The wreck occurred earlier that morning when a truck driver stopped his tractor-trailer on the track after side swiping a van. The truck driver tried moving his truck out of the way as Metro-North Waterbury Branch train #1957 came around the curve. He was unsuccessful. |
