Remarks & Notes |
The Rhaetian Railway has in mind to set a world record for the longest passenger train in the world on October 29, 2022 in connection with 175 years of Swiss Railways. 25 coupled "Capricorn" trains with a total length of 1910 meters are to run from Preda via Bergün and Filisur to Alvaneu. Extensive testing has already been undertaken for this purpose. Now a publicity locomotive has also been designed, the Ge 4/4 III # 644 "Savognin" makes the world record attempt known throughout the canton. The locomotive is pulling the IR 1125 from Chur to St.Moritz, between Spinas and Bever. |
