On the morning of June 23, 2018, five trains can be seen from the top of Logan Hill looking south. On Track 1 is a southbound BNSF coal load. Coming up alongside on Track 2 is a Union Pacific coal empty headed north to load at one of the mines to the north. Just visible and about to disappear down the grade is the DPU of a UP coal train on Track 3. Rolling by in the foreground on Track 4 is a loaded UP coal train speeding up after cresting the hill. In the background is another UP coal empty that is following the UP train on Track 2.
