| Former Southern Railway GP38AC #2866 is back on home rails in this October 4, 2014 shot. The 2866 was built for the Southern and then became Norfolk Southern, same unit. It was sold to the Gulf & Ohio Railways where it worked for various railroads including the Knoxville & Holston River and Wiregrass Central. After the G&O bought the Lancaster and Chester (and sold the Wiregrass Central) it came to the L&C and got repainted. |
