Chicago & Northern Western’s freight from Janesville is eastbound at Clinton, Wisconsin, passing the abandoned 1912 depot on the morning of August 12, 1995. This station at Clinton Junction stood at the crossing of C&NW’s Chicago to Janesville route, and Milwaukee Road’s “Southwestern” line between Racine and Kittredge, Illinois. The Milwaukee line was abandoned by the time of this photo.
