| Norfolk Southern 8456 leads Train 192 into Columbia, South Carolina in May, 2007. NS 8456 was a General Electric C40-8W built as LMS (Locomotive Management Services) 716 in 1994 under an agreement between Conrail and Canadian National Railroad where each railroad used it for six months a year. When Conrail was split up between Norfolk Southern and CSX, it became NS 8456. NS sold it to Progress Rail in 2018. |
