| Re 420 # 253 of the SBB is pulling two diesel "Flirts" Class 231 # 009 and # 010, built by StadlerRail for the Transport for Wales in the United Kingdom, between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle. The train is running from Stadler's commissioning centre Erlen via Winterthur-Kloten-Regensdorf-Bözberg to Basel for export to the UK. KeolisAmey Wales ordered 11 of this trains for the Wales & Borders rail franchise. The class 231 units will operate services between Maesteg and Cheltenham Spa as well as Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale. |
