The stars of the universe glow an intense shine over the darkness of northern New Mexico as the intermediate semaphore blades stand guard over the former ATSF Transcontinental. Despite being over 100 years old, these blades still protect the rail movements of the Southwest Chief to this day on this line, though they also represent a freeze in time. A time where freights once bustled through the canyons, plateaus, and mountains of the southwest.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
