| We made it all the way out to Alliance on our adventure. Unfortunately the Sand Hills Sub wasn't so nice to us. Only 1 eastbound tram left Alliance on Tuesday morning and the dispatcher stuck him for anything possible. So we made the best we could do with DP power on westbound trains. We spend some time here at the Ashby cemetery looking around. Thought some of the grave markers were pretty cool. There was alot of history here and it was crazy that many of the older graves were still decorated. Cowboy life seems to be pretty good to people out here, married at 18/17...lasted for 67 years of marriage. |
