| In August the only thing in the Sand Hills to see is wild flowers and coal trains. Unfortunately for us eastbound trains were non-existent on Tuesday morning so we made the best with DP power on westbounds. Here a pair of units tag along on this Palos, AL, empty as they make the final miles into Alliance for a crew change. What a difference 15 years makes in paint! |
