In the Thompsonville section of Enfield, southbound Connecticut Southern train CSO-4 rolls by the former site of the 127-year-old Westfield Plate Company, also known as the casket building. The vacant mill building, which was a popular photo prop with passing trains, burned to the ground in a multi-alarm fire in March of 2021.
