Ramp Work: The Tri-State Railway Historical Society has acquired a GE 44-tonner that began its career as Hoboken Manufacturers Railroad No. 700. Here, the truck driver transporting the unit from Pennsylvania to New Jersey is seen at the Tyburn Railroad's yard disassembling the ramp used to move the locomotive off of the rails and onto a flatbed truck. The unit was then brought back to New Jersey for the first time since the Hoboken Shore Railroad—successor to the Hoboken Manufacturers Railroad—was abandoned in 1978.
