Pritchard Creek Horseshoe
A new "Heavy" GE leads westbound grain load around the Pritchard Creek Horseshoe. The train has a total 8 big motors for the pill up the 2.2% grade. The second unit is a AC6000 Convertible that never saw the 6000 horsepower motor. These engines with there oversize cooling system for the larger motor, have always been good mountain engines, less prove to overheating on long hot slow climbs....
