NS 9692 is eastbound at Port interlocking near Newport, PA on an October morning. I remember shark nose Baldwins and GP9s leading perishable hotshots through here many years ago, and Don Wood created some excellent B&W photos of steam by the old block station that once stood nearby. Only remnants of ties along the old right of way recall the multiple-tracked Broadway and even the distinctive signal bridge and position lights are now memories. Even NS 9692 is gone - wrecked in 2018. And time carries on.
