| Siemens "Taurus" ES64-U2 1116 # 250 of the ÖBB (austrian state railways) is pulling the RailJet-train RJ 559 from Vienna Airport via Vienna main station-Wiener Neustadt-Semmering-Mürzzuschlag-Bruck an der Mur to Graz, over the 184 meter long and 46 meter high Kalte Rinne viaduct (built 1848 to 1854) on the Semmering pass north ramp between Breitenstein and Wolfsbergkogel stations. This viaduct with 10 bows in the upper part and 5 bows below is the most impressive of the line and has a radius of 190 meter only. The velocity is 60 km/h here. |
