| 4-6-2 express train steamlocomotive 03 # 001 of DB Museum, on long term loan to IG Bw Dresden-Altstadt, exhibited in Dresden main station during the 13th steamlocomotive gathering. The 03 # 001 was built in 1930 by Borsig/Berlin for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft (DRG) and withdrawn in 1971 by the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). Operational again from 1978 to 2000 as "Traditionslok" for Verkehrsmuseum Dresden/DB Museum Nürnberg. Since then not operational and stabled in Bw Dresden-Altstadt. |
