Four pre-20th century steam locomotives gathered in Antonito, Colorado, for the Victorian Iron Horse Roundup. Its even more amazing when you realize that only "Eureka" was operable 20 years ago. RGS 20 was stuffed and mounted at the Colorado Railroad Museum, and both D&RG 425 (D&RGW 315) and D&RG 168 were park displays. Who says railroad preservation is dead!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
