Remarks & Notes

The last hurrah of four axle mainline power in the form of Dash8s and GP60s was being played out on BNSF as 6 axle road power was soon to become dominant. But not quite yet, as a four-pack of Dash 8-40BWs leads a westbound past old McCartys, NM - about 15 miles east of Grants.
