| Remarks & Notes |
| Fastest operational steamlocomotive 18 # 201, built in 1961 by RAW Meiningen with using parts of several other locomotives, for fast test runs with cars built in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The three cylinder, oil fired 4-6-2 locomotive has a maximum velocity of 180 km/h (never really reached). Here she is entering Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg on the occasion of the celebration of 160 years "Schiefe Ebene". There is a second, auxiliary tender used here for larger water and oil capacity. |
