| On 23 May 1996, DB's "egghead" VT 08 passes through Wiggen station in the Entlebuch as special train 33059 on an excursion to Switzerland in rainy weather. Wiggen has been closed to passenger traffic since 2011 and the train is parked in Meinigen (D) in the open air in an inoperable condition.
