KCS GE and ProgressRail ACe take a southbound across the Illinois River just north of Watts,a very small town, but perhaps the most important spot on KCS between Pittsburg and Heavener. A few days after this photo was made, heavy spring rains would put the river up to the bottom of the bridge, and cover my vantage point with several feet of moving water.
