Late afternoon in Elmira, New York finds Conrail train CGAL (Corning, NY - Allentown, PA) approaching the Chemung River on elevated trackage on the Southern Tier line. The Elmira Transportation Center building has been razed and replaced by a single-story structure with bus platforms on either side.
