| All the motors huddled together here are former Burlington Northern or Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe units. BNSF 1656 started life as a SD40-2 in 1978 with the BN, 1579 started in 1972 as a SD45-2 for the AT&SF, then has a brief stint with the Great Northern Railway before joining the BNSF as a SD40-2R, 1675 started in 1978 as a SD40-2 for the BN, and 2719 was built as a GP39-2 for the BN in 1981. |
