| After a productive day on the northern end of the CSX Fitzgerald Subdivision, we pass through Americus, Georgia on the way back home. Americus is the base of operations for the Genesee & Wyoming owned Heart of Georgia Railroad. Thankfully, our stop is not in vain as there are two EMD locomotives tied down in the yard. |
