| Solid black IC consists were the new normal in the early 2000's once CN took over. The IC SD40's seem to be the main stay power for Iowa, along with a few SD70's. CN power wasn't as common, and if it did come to Iowa it was usually flipped back at Waterloo to Chicago. A westbound freight dips thru the hogbacks between Jesup and Raymond as they make the last few miles into Waterloo.
