| The Uk's newest mainline locomotive Tornado paid a visit to the Nene Valley railway in 2013. There was a need to turn the engine and this had to be done manually. Three volunteers work hard at turning the wheel which enables the turntable to revolve. There were a few automated turntables in the UK but I do not think that any have survived |
