Just east of the site of the former PRR Thompsontown Station, AMTK 119 brings Amtrak 43(21), the Pennsylvanian, west along the south bank of the Juniata River at PT 142.3.
The electrified Northeast Corridor and Keystone Corridor have the traffic. The Pennsylvanian and Capitol Limited routed, which are all diesel, have the scenery.
