Union Pacific's LSF51 (Bloomington IL to Carlinville IL) local returns East on a short remnant of the former Illinois Central's Havana District in Lincoln, Illinois. The ''South Local's'' only customer at the end of the one and a half mile line is the International Paper Co. corrugated box plant. If the local doesn't have freight heading South of Lincoln, they split the power in order to service the plant and spot loads so the locomotives are facing East. This is a relatively new process. Two spotless former Southern Pacific locomotives, GP60 1157 and GP40-2 1421 approach State Street on the South side of Lincoln on Tuesday, 29 September, 2020.
