| Many things have changed in the sleepy coal town of Thurmond, WV, nestled in the middle of the New River Gorge in southern WV. One thing that hasn't changed.. the railroad's importance to moving freight (and passengers) across the country. Eastbound coal train T210-18 with one of CSX's Tier 4 EMD ST70AH's leading heads onto Main 2 at Thurmond, meeting a westbound empty waiting out of frame. |
