| A massive wildfire in the Colorado Rocky Mountains necessitated the use by the BNSF of the Union Pacific's Greeley sub to temporarily reroute trains through Wyoming. Because of the lack of familiarity of the BNSF crews on the line, a UP engine and crew would be added to the front of the BNSF to lead the train. Here we see UP 8017 (AC45CCTE) lead the train across the bridge in LaSalle, Colorado. |
