| About 30 minutes later we catch back up with #4087 and her manifest train as we catch her crossing the impressive trestle at Coopers, WV. One thing that amazes me about this area is the fact that people live literally feet from the tracks and have been for decades. The gray house you see to the far right behind the trees is owned by a local woman who plans on selling the place or potentially making it into a bed and breakfast for railfans. The railroad line you see crossing below the trestle is the former N&W Bluestone branch now used mostly for car storage. |
