| Remarks & Notes  |
| A westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe manifest freight curves into Crescent, Colorado, during a high-country springtime snowstorm on April 22, 2001. Lead BNSF C44-9W No. 4558 is an unfortunate member of a large group of new GE Dash 9s that had their orange paint quickly fade to an awful shade of mustard during this era. Many were way worse than this one! |
