| Allegheny Reminders- The whine of dynamic brakes fills the air as WAJO makes its way down the eastern slope of Kane Hill. Originally surmounted by the Philadelphia & Erie, trains have been continuously making their way over the hill here since the 1870s. Genesee & Wyoming orange has been the dominant color here since the early 1990's, but there are remnants of the classy Intaglio Blue and orange of the previous owner- the Hammermill Paper subsidiary Allegheny Railroad. |
