| Sitting tied down at the North end of Duke siding in Mount Holly. Loaded Loyall, KY coal train T722 awaits a fresh crew to take it to Marshall Steam Station. Reminiscent of the times when Riverbend was still in operation. Coal trains would tie down here and wait for the plant to take them. And as a kid I remember seeing them sitting here quite often. Now Riverbend is gone and coal doesn't run as much as it did. |
