Remarks & Notes |
With their assault on Tehachapi temporarily halted, the crew of this eastbound BNSF Q train briefly stirs in their seats as a passenger train rounds the curve and into view at Bealville. The conductor has now stepped down and prepares to give the out-of-place, long distance passenger train a roll-by that turns out to be Amtrak's Coast Starlight. The famed west coast passenger train is detouring over Tehachapi and up the Central Valley today after work on Metrolink's tracks in the San Fernando Valley have temporarily closed the train's normal route. |
