| Re 421 # 387 of the SBB (in the red/blue Cargo paint scheme) is leaving Winterthur in deep snow in march 2006, with the Eurocity 196 Munich-Zürich. The Re 421 series have a certification to run in Switzerland, Germany and Austria and are used to pull the Eurocities between Zürich and Lindau (Germany) via Bregenz (Austria). Today, the locomotive is owned by the IRSI (International Rolling Stock Investment Gmbh) in Frauenfeld and is actually in the SBB works of Bellinzona for a revision R2. It should be reappear in a brand new paint scheme to run for the TR Trans Rail railway in the future. |
