Cimarron Valley CVR 4053 pulls its train out of the BNSF yard in Dodge City and around the tight curve that was once the east leg of a wye. The train is rolling past the soccer fields in Wright Park. The flats along the Arkansas River at this location were long ago a important watering location for travelers and stage coaches along the Santa Fe trail.
