A westbound manifest rumbles across the frozen Noxon Reservoir on a blustery January afternoon. This location is a popular ice fishing spot, and with a close look you can see numerous fishing bore holes thru the thick ice. The lake was formed by damming the Clark Fork river requiring the Northern Pacific Railroad to build a new alignment in 1957. The new Right of Way was tamped with a Challenger locomotive.....
