Remarks & Notes |
2 Cheeseburgers to go! Lunch on the run is being hand delivered to the head end crew of this Utah Railway coal train as it backs out of the Martin, Utah yard. As a result of the Union Pacific/Southern Pacific merger in 1996, the Utah Railway was granted trackage rights over the ex. D&RGW from Helper to Grand Junction, Colorado. This train is exercising those rights by backing out of the yard at Utah Ry. Jct. and onto the UP Provo Sub. at the mouth of Price River Canyon. From there it will go east through Helper and on to Grand Junction for delivery to the BNSF for forwarding. |
