| The Hudson River is a favorite among railfans. The river flows south 300 miles through eastern New York State. The Hudson (Metro-North) and River (CSX) Lines run parallel on the east and west banks of the river. At Highland Falls the river is narrow and affords good views of both lines from either side. Here a pair of GE locomotives run elephant style leading an auto carrier train. |
