Santa Fe power is gathered at Richmond, CA on Pearl Harbor Day 1985. SD45 5311 shares space with GP35 2887 and another GP35. The latter GP35 sports snow shields and flare shields on the roof to lift exhaust. Note the piles of locomotive sand and spilled fuel in the engine area. Today's railroads generally do a neater job of maintaining loco facilities. |
