Frisco 1351, built by American Locomotive Company in 1912, sits at the Collierville Square. Frisco 1351 was rebuilt in 1943 by the Frisco's Springfield Shops changing her from a Consolidation to a Mikado. 1351 was officially given to the city of Collierville recently (from Memphis), so Collierville has since allotted money to cosmetically restore the locomotive. Here, most of these cosmetic restorations can be seen.
This album will have all the Frisco pictures I find. My family moved to Ada Oklahoma in 1964 and Frisco was the most active line in Ada. Many of our friends had parents who worked for Frisco Railroad. This will be pictures of anything Frisco.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
